World of chocolates

Chocolate is a popular sweet made primarily from cocoa solids, cocoa butter, and sugar. It typically comes in various forms, including bars and candies

Chocolate has a rich, indulgent flavor and is enjoyed by people of all ages around the world. It is often used in desserts, beverages, and as a standalone treat.

They can be categorized into different types such as dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate.


Dark chocolate

Dark chocolate is a form of chocolate containing only cocoa solids, cocoa butter and sugar. Dark chocolate without added sweetener is known as bitter chocolate or unsweetened chocolate. As with the other two main types of chocolate, dark chocolate is used for chocolate bars or as a coating in confectionery. 


Milk chocolate

Milk chocolate is a form of solid chocolate containing cocoa, sugar and milk. It is the most consumed type of chocolate, and is used in a wide diversity of bars, tablets and other confectionery products. Milk chocolate contains smaller amounts of cocoa solids than do dark chocolates, and contains milk solids. 


White chocolate

White chocolate is a confectionery typically made of sugar, milk, and cocoa butter, but no cocoa solids. It is pale ivory in color, and lacks many of the compounds found in milk, dark, and other chocolates.


Ruby chocolate

Ruby chocolate is a style or distinct variety of chocolate that is pink or purple in colour and has a unique flavor profile that is described as slightly fruity and tangy. Barry Callebaut, a Belgian–Swiss cocoa company, introduced it as a distinct product 


Artisanal and craft chocolate

Artisanal chocolate refers to chocolate that is crafted in small batches by skilled chocolatiers or chocolate makers. These chocolates are often made with high-quality ingredients, and the process typically involves more handwork and attention to detail compared to mass-produced chocolates.


Vegan chocolate

Vegan chocolate is chocolate that is made without any animal-derived ingredients. It typically substitutes dairy milk with plant-based alternatives such as almond milk, soy milk, or coconut milk. Additionally, vegan chocolate avoids other animal products like honey and may use alternative sweeteners such as agave syrup or coconut sugar.
